How StampClub works, end to end

The whole platform in one page: how customers join, how a stamp is awarded, and where every feature lives in your dashboard.

The short version

A customer scans your QR code, your staff approve the stamp on their phone, and the reward is issued automatically when the card fills up. There is no app to download, no card reader and no till integration.

  1. Customer

    Scans your QR

Opens in their phone browser. No app download, no account needed the first time.

  2. StampClub

    Request appears at the till

Your staff phone shows it in under a second. Nobody has to be watching the screen.

  3. Staff

    Checks and confirms

Name, photo, which card, current progress. Set 1–10 stamps, then slide to confirm.

  4. Customer

    Stamp lands instantly

If it completes the card, the reward voucher is issued automatically.

Two staff can never double-stamp the same person: opening a request locks it to one device, and the lock releases after 30 seconds if that phone goes offline.

How a stamp is awarded. A scan never awards a stamp on its own. It creates a request that a staff member has to approve, which is what stops a photographed QR code from paying out.

The customer's side

Customers never install anything. Scanning your QR opens StampClub in their browser, and from there they can:

  • join your loyalty card in a few seconds
  • see their progress towards the next reward
  • hold rewards until they are ready to use them
  • add the card to Apple or Google Wallet where that is available

Everything is tied to the phone number or email they sign up with, so a lost phone never loses their stamps.

Your side, at the counter

Day to day, your team lives on one screen: the Scan area. It shows waiting requests and opens each one as an approval card. A shift usually needs nothing else.

Everything else is set up once and then left alone:

  • your loyalty cards and rewards
  • your QR posters
  • your team and their permissions
  • your locations

Where everything lives

Your dashboard has six main areas, and most settings sit inside the last one:

  • Home: a summary of today
  • Customers: your member list, health segments and notes
  • Marketing: Campaigns, Promo codes and Autopilot
  • Scan: the till screen your staff use
  • Analytics: stamps, members, retention and busiest times
  • Settings: loyalty cards, locations, team, billing, integrations and this help centre

If you cannot find something, it is almost always under Settings.

What happens when a card fills up

You do not need to track completions. The moment the final stamp is approved, the reward is created and the customer's card starts again:

  1. Last stamp approved

The card reaches its target and rolls over to a fresh one, keeping any overflow stamps.

  2. Voucher issued automatically

It appears in the customer's rewards straight away. Vouchers on this platform do not expire.

  3. Redeemed at the counter

The customer shows their reward, a staff member confirms it, and it is marked used.

What happens when a card completes. Rewards are issued automatically the moment the last stamp lands. Staff never have to remember to hand one out.

Getting set up

Setting up takes about ten minutes:

  1. Your business

Name, type, contact details, address and your logo.

  2. Your card

How many stamps and what the reward is. Sensible defaults are filled in for your business type.

  3. Review and launch

A last look before anything goes live.

  4. You're live

Print your QR poster and take your first stamp.

Launching starts a 30-day free trial on the Basic plan unless you arrived from a Growth link. You choose your plan later from the billing page.

Setting up for the first time. Four steps, and your progress is saved as you go so you can close the tab and come back.

Once you are live, print your QR poster and put it where people pay. That single step matters more than any setting on this platform. A loyalty programme nobody can see does not collect anything.

Where to go next

Common questions

Do customers need to download an app?

No. Scanning your QR code opens StampClub in the phone's browser. Customers can add it to their home screen if they want, but nothing is required from an app store.

Does a stamp get awarded automatically when someone scans?

No. A scan creates a request that a staff member approves at the till. This is deliberate, because it stops a photographed QR code from awarding stamps to people who did not buy anything.
